Agenda 2030

With our projects, we want to introduce young people to the 2030 Agenda and encourage them to get involved in its implementation. Because everyone can make a contribution!

The 17 goals reflect on ecological, social and economic constitutions on a global scale, making them interdependent. They are preceded by five core messages as principles for guiding action, entitled the "5 Ps":

People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals can be categorised as People (Goals 1 to 5), Planet (Goals 13 to 15 and 6), Prosperity (Goals 8 to 12 and 7) and Peace & Partnership (Goals 16 and 17).

The 2030 Agenda was adopted by the heads of state and government of the member states at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in New York in September 2015.

It is the continuation of the 2015 Agenda, also known as the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals). The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted at the summit go far beyond the MDGs in content and scope.

The UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (2030 Agenda) fall into three to four categories: Biosphere (Goal: 14 and 15 and 6 and 13) Society (Goals 1 to 5 and 11, 16 and 7) Economy (Goals 8 to 10 and 12) and Partnerships, Goal number 17.

For the first time, economic, social and ecological development goals were linked and poverty reduction and sustainability were interconnected. The achievement of the goals is intended to enable equitable and sustainable development and thus secure a future for the earth and its people.

The goals are in detail:

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals: 1 No poverty; 2 No hunger; Health and well-being; 4 Quality education; 5 Gender equality; 6 Clean water and sanitation; 7 Affordable and clean energy; 8 Decent work and economic growth; 9 Industry, innovation and infrastructure; 10 Reduced inequalities; 11 Sustainable cities and communities; 12 Sustainable consumption and production; 13 Climate action; 14 Life below water; 15 Life on land; 16 Peace, justice and strong institutions; 17 Partnerships to achieve the goals.
